Casa Limone is a holiday apartment intended for short-term rentals located in a strategic position in the ancient fishing village of Chianalea, a village with a thousand-year history rich in scents, tastes and colors typical of the magnificent land of Calabria. The apartment is on the ground floor and is equipped with all comforts.
Descending a characteristic panoramic staircase leads from the apartment to a picturesque boat landing from where it is possible to dive and snorkel; going up, you reach the upper part of the town full of shops, bakeries, fishmongers, bars, restaurants, clubs and supermarkets. Adjacent to the landing is the seventeenth-century three-spout fountain that gives the street its name and provides drinking water. Just 350 meters from Casa Limone, walking through the poetic alleys of Chianalea, you reach free or equipped beaches. Casa Limone is located in a Limited Traffic Zone, so you can conveniently park outside at 250 meters.

In Scilla, Ruffo Castle houses a museum, the Scilla lighthouse and an unmissable view of the crystal-clear sea. Reggio Calabria is 23 km away; the National Archaeological Museum is home to the famous Riace Bronzes, whilst the Civic Art Gallery houses works of art dating from the 15th to the 20th century. There is also the beautiful Falcometà promenade, which D’Annunzio described as ‘the most beautiful kilometre in Italy’. These destinations are also easily accessible by train in just a few minutes.
Activities
Staying in our apartment you experience the true nature of Chianalea. At the small port you can rent boats or embark with professional fishermen. The Scilla diving center organizes explorations of the wonderful seabed. The peaks of Aspromonte are only 25 km away.
